ENB-for-NVE

ENB for NVE is a graphics configuration preset for Grand Theft Auto V on PC. It is designed to work on top of NaturalVision Evolved (NVE), which is itself a popular mod that overhauls GTA V's visuals to look more realistic. This project adds a second layer of post-processing effects on top of NVE using a tool called ENB Series, a well-known graphics injector for PC games.

The preset adds a range of visual effects: lighting that mimics how real light bounces off surfaces, soft shadows where objects meet, reflections on wet roads and glass, a cinematic focus blur when you aim or drive, subtle motion blur, and color grading that adjusts warmth and contrast to give the game a film-like look. None of these are native GTA V features; they are all applied in real time by injecting code between the game and your graphics card.

There are five quality tiers to choose from, ranging from Low Spec (aimed at mid-range cards from around 2016 to 2018) up to Ultra Quality (intended for high-end cards from 2020 onward). Each tier trades off visual fidelity for frame rate, so players can pick a balance that suits their hardware. The download comes with a Windows installer that walks through selecting a GTA V folder and choosing a preset, taking about one to two minutes.

The preset only works in GTA V's single-player story mode. It is not compatible with GTA Online because that mode blocks graphics mods to prevent unfair advantages. It also requires NVE to be installed first, along with two utilities the NVE installation process already asks for: Script Hook V and OpenIV.
