This repository is a curated list of ways to get free or discounted Microsoft certification exam vouchers through official Microsoft programs and events. Microsoft certifications are credentials that demonstrate knowledge of specific Microsoft technologies, and the exams to earn them normally cost money. This project tracks opportunities where you can take those exams at no cost or at a significant discount.

At the time of the last update, two opportunities were listed. The first was the Microsoft AI Skills Fest 2026, which ran from June 8 through 12, 2026, and offered a free certification exam voucher plus a digital badge to anyone who completed an eligible AI-related learning playlist on Microsoft's AI Skills Navigator platform. The second was a discounted beta exam for a certification called SC-500 (Cloud and AI Security Engineer Associate), where the first 300 candidates could take the exam for 80 percent off using a specific discount code, with a deadline of June 8, 2026.

Each opportunity has its own folder in the repository with a more detailed README explaining eligibility rules and the steps to claim the offer. The main README provides a status indicator for each entry, whether upcoming, ending soon, or expired, so you can quickly see what is still available.

The project welcomes contributions. If you find a new voucher offer from Microsoft, you can add a folder with the details and update the main table.
