I am an [AWS Hero][aws-hero] and the founder of [Betajob][betajob], a company that helps build solutions on AWS and specializes in infrastructure as code, DevOps, and reusable infrastructure components.
I like getting to the core of a complex problem and eventually simplifying it so people can use it. That is how serverless.tf started, and it is how I am building compliance.tf now: Terraform Compliance for Cloud-Native Enterprise. compliance.tf is my main priority.
I like
- Travel to share knowledge at conferences, meetups, podcasts, workshops, mentoring, etc.
- Figure out best and worst practices (by asking "Why?") and publish them as Terraform best practices and, since 2026, as the Terraform Skill project (best practices packaged for AI assistants).
- Open source, Terraform, and AWS.
- Making Terraform [live streams][youtube] and sending [weekly newsletters][weeklytf] is fun, too.
Some of my open-source projects
- serverless.tf - doing serverless on AWS with Terraform.
- Terraform AWS modules, which have been provisioned more than 2 billion times.
- repro-lambda - build reproducible AWS Lambda packages for Terraform
- pre-commit-terraform to keep Terraform projects clean and nice.
- deliberation - get a second opinion from GPT, Gemini, Grok, and 300+ more models. Works in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, and any tool with MCP support.
- agent-plugins - skills for AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Codex) that load on demand while the agent works.
