KUOSC is the Open Source-related wing of KUCC (Kathmandu University Computer Club), where we bring together passionate FOSS enthusiasts from all walks of life. What We Do

• Training Programs: We offer a diverse range of training programs and workshops, including Linux Talks and Useful Network Training, to equip our members with essential skills in Open Source technologies.
• Advocacy Activities: We actively participate in various advocacy activities, such as celebrating Software Freedom Day, organizing community-level workshops, and spreading awareness about the importance of Free and Open Source Software.

The Design Community's goal is to introduce students to various fields of graphics design, including template designing for certificates, banners, etc., and components of 3D graphics.

Rust Community

The Rust Community is a group of enthusiastic people focused on learning system programming using the Rust programming language.

Python Community

The Python Community helps beginners and Python programming enthusiasts familiarize themselves with the Python language, its libraries, applications, news, career opportunities, and more through organizing events.

JavaScript Community

The JavaScript Community helps people grasp the overwhelming amount of JavaScript technologies and assists them in choosing and learning suitable frameworks for their projects.

Machine Learning Community

The Machine Learning Community helps beginners or ML enthusiasts familiarize themselves with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and its applications in various fields.

Dart Community

The Dart Community provides Dart enthusiasts with opportunities to participate in tutorials, talk shows, meetups, exhibitions, and even get introduced to career opportunities.

Cybersecurity Community

The Cybersecurity Community assists cybersecurity enthusiasts in familiarizing themselves with networking, encryption, pentesting, and other aspects of this field. The community also organizes Capture The Flag (CTF) events and security auditing challenges.

Health Informatics Community

The main objective of the Health Informatics Community is to handle departmental documentation work, yearly magazine publication, blog writing, and more by creating an active community of enthusiasts.
