Experimental SSTV Studio Time-compressed slow scan television: encode an image to SSTV audio, squeeze the audio to a fraction of its length before it hits the air, and let the receiving station stretch it back and decode as usual. Half (or a quarter) of the airtime, paid for with a few seconds of number crunching on each end.
